The JAG composites Ultralight AR-15 handguard is the lightest free float handguard system on the market. The layup of this handguard has been engineered to be 40% lighter than a standard carbon fiber handguard. We have switched to using black hardware for a nicer aesthetic.

Shipped fast. Handguard is awesome! Easy to install with the alignment jig, and the material means it doesn’t get super hot after shooting or cold when sitting outside. Feels super solid in the hand. Will be buying another for my next rifle build!

I have had one of these in 10.5″ length (ultralight) for about a year and a half now, it is incredibly light, rigid and strong. I have rode this around on my quad all day, and used it for a full hunting season, it is absolutely top notch kit. Just a question, Is this handguard rigid enough to mount an IR laser without shifting the zero?

Easy install. Very light, exceptional fit, finish, and love the the way it fits in my hand. Put it on my wife’s 6.5 Grendel and she absolutely loves it. Makes the rifle balance and point very naturally. Would buy another one in a second.

I’ve built quite a few ARs and played around with numerous different rails. This thing is better quality than other high end rails made out of aluminum. This thing doesn’t flex and doesn’t get hot. With metal rails similarly priced, I’ve mounted accessories and have taken small chunks out of the slots from the metal being too soft, almost ruining the Mlok slots. Not with this thing. Extremely well made and it’s been on my go-to rifle for a few years now. Customer service is also great regarding any questions etc. They’ll always have my business. Thank you!
